Quick and Easy Easter Decorations

I love Easter and this time of year because it means Spring has arrived. Spring is all about growth, sunshine, and beauty. Easter is also a special holiday because Jesus died on the cross and rose 3 days later. This is something that has always been important in my life. I was trying to think of something to create but have run out of time so I kept with the flower and Easter Bunny theme although maybe next year!

3 Easy St. Patrick's Day Decorations

I can't believe we are already in March! Where did the beginning of the year ago? One of my husband's favorite holidays is St. Patricks Day because 1. his birthday is the day before and 2. it is all about drinking beer. I decided to do a little decorating just like I do with every other holiday so why should this one be any different. I kept it simple with 3 easy DIY decorations that you can do too.

Pot 'o Gold Centerpiece

Have you ever wanted to find the Pot o' Gold at the end of the rainbow? Look no further because I found the gold and decided to use it as my centerpiece on my table. I also decided to add some pretty flowers and candles to spruce it up even more.

What you need:
- Fake flowers of your choice
- Coins
- Mini bucket
- Green and gold paint
- Candles
- Glass vases
- Mirror

What to do:
1. Paint mini bucket green
2. Once paint is dry, write "Pot 'o Gold" with gold paint
3. Add flowers to the mini bucket and surround with coins (Trick: I added some newspaper underneath the coins so I didn't need to completely fill up the bucket with coins)
4. Add candles to glass vases and surround with coins
5. Arrange mini bucket and vases on mirror
6. Save a handful of coins to scatter around vases and mini bucket

Lucky Floral Wall Art

In previous posts, I had mentioned my husband created a shelf for me to put decorations up and of course, St. Patrick's Day is no different. I decided to continue with my St. Patrick's Day theme - Luck of the Irish.

What you need:

- Cardboard letters that spell out "Lucky"
- Green and gold paint
-Spring/Rose Garland
- Sparkly shamrocks (These are the pieces I removed from the dollar store piece I used for the front door hanger)
- Tape/glue (Used to attach the shamrocks to shelf)

What to do:

1. Paint cardboard letters
2. Add garland to shelf
3. Place letters in front of garland and tape/glue the shamrocks in-between each letter on shelf.
4. Enjoy your hard work!

Welcome Luck Front Door Hanger

Having a wreath for every holiday is so overrated. I wanted something different but still went with the theme of St. Patrick's Day. Everyone always says it is all about the Luck of the Irish or sparkly green. So I went for it and created something that went with just that.

What you need:
-Wooden letters
- Green paint
- Gold glitter
- Green bow
- Welcome cardboard top hat (I used a hanging decoration I got from the dollar store and removed the rest of the pieces)
- Ribbon
- Hot glue gun
- Door hanger

What to do:
1. Paint letters and once dry, add glitter
2. Hot glue ribbon to back of letters
3. Attach bow to door hanger above letters
4. Hang on door and admire!
