Homemade Hamburger Helper

Do you love hamburger helper? Do you wish it was a little healthier? If you answered yes to those questions then keep reading. Thanks to Farmer Girl Gourmet I found the perfect recipe. I have changed the recipe slightly to make it less spicy for my husband.

As a new mom, I am always looking for something quick and easy. This has become a regular in our household because it is easy to make and smells delicious! Once you try this out, you won't want to go back! It is an easy recipe that is delicious for the whole family.

1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Spray with cooking spray and add the ground beef. Brown until cooked through and no longer pink. Discard any fat.

Note: You can pre mix the seasonings while the meat is cooking. Not required but it seems to save time.

2. Add the pasta, milk, water, and spices and stir to combine. Bring to a boil and turn the heat down to simmer. Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the pasta is al dente.

3. Add the cheese and stir to combine. Serve immediately and enjoy!
